This cinema is directly opposite the rear entrance of Bloomingdale's. As you can see, a three screen. We ran in to it while walking down Third Avenue. Did not see a film here.

This from Kristin Barreto: 'It Sucks. Basically, nothing has been done to upgrade this theater since it was put up, probably in the 70's. The carpeting, mirrored 7ft ceilings, even the seats have not been changed at all. Obviously there is no stadium seating, so your neck is left straining and craning. I am still full of kinks on the one side of my neck today (Monday) after seeing a movie there Saturday ("The Devil Wears Prada").

The seats are uncomfortable at best.  The theaters themselves are very tiny, causing overcrowding and constant interruption by other patrons going to the bathroom or getting over-priced snacks and drinks, and pre-popped, stale popcorn.

That said, I will say the movie ran smoothly and the sound was good. While the seats were uncomfortable, there was plenty of leg room (I am 5'8" and my boyfriend is 6'2").  Even the A/C was perfect - not too hot, not too cold.

I could stand the theater being small if you didn't feel as if you were on top of everyone else.  I guess I'm just too used to stadium seating now.

And of course, I had to get the typical, sit-com situation where a very tall person with big, bushy hair sat down in front of me, and I had nowhere else to move!'
