Seem to remember seeing The Mosquito Coast here way back when.

Sign on the door said: 'Closed for essential remedial work'. Will it re-open as a cinema or offices?

Anyone know what became of this cinema? Myself or Ian will check it out at some point and report back.

This from Anonymous: 'If you watched The Mosquito Coast at the Odeon Haymarket, the chances were I ran It. Back in the 80's I was projectionist there and ran the royal prem to Chas & Di.

The Odeon always had an asbestos problem, and when major work took place on the old bank upstairs the theatre was shut for health reasons. I was told by my contacts in the west end that it will not re-open and was indeed stripped of its projection gear in 2001. I believe it is to become a "lap dancing" venue.'
