me. This from General Manager Michael Murrant: 'Designed by George Coles. Opened officially on 9th September 1936, 70th anniversary this year. Originally a 1 Screen cinema with 1800 seats. The cinema was converted to 3 Screens in the 1970's. All screens still run on 35mm film and are yet to be added to the Digital Projection cinema list.' |
