Movie Bunker: It first started out as www.whenfridaycomes.co.uk - so called because of the Sean Bean film When Saturday Comes - which I have never seen! Why Friday then? Because it's the day films are released in the UK. So, I loved it when Friday came because it meant it was the weekend and I could hit the movies. By the way, never start a sentence with 'because'.

The initial idea was to talk about cinema presentation - which we did - but that would have made it too wordy and we needed pictures. So, I had the idea to introduce cinema pictures. Very nerdy don't you think?! The cinema pictures got the hits that give us our current excellent ranking.

I really don't remember when I first had the idea to make fake movie pictures except to say that I messed around with the Magic Wand tool in a picture editor and realized it was very easy to remove parts of a picture, leaving a transparent background.

The very first picture I experimented with? It was ex Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton! A studio shot, she was posed in front of a completely white backdrop. I clicked on the background with the magic wand, hit delete and I was left with just Natasha.

After Inserting her image on to another I realized the potential of combining the two images and so began the fake pictures. Over 100 fakes later...

I came to dislike the whenfridaycomes domain and decided I needed a more commercial sounding name. Lots of the domain names I liked had already been registered, but out of my list of around 20 desired domains Movie Bunker was available.

Four hosts and over 800,000 hits later we're still here doing our thing...
